The exhibition vindicates the fundamental role of the first workshop that Miró built in the Mas
From July 10 to September 2, the Centre Cultural Església Vella in Mont-roig del Camp hosts the exhibition The Soul of Form. Mont-roig or the essence of Miró.
An exhibition that invites us to discover an essential facet of Joan Miró’s creative process through his sculptural work. The exhibition, curated by Elena Juncosa, highlights the deep bond between the artist and Mont-roig, a landscape that became an inexhaustible source of inspiration throughout his career.
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Sundays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Església Vella Cultural Center in Mont-roig del Camp.
A cultural proposal to discover the essence of Miró and, at the same time, rediscover the landscape that inspired him. Because getting to know Mont-roig is also a way of loving it and looking at the territory through the eyes of one of the most universal artists of the twentieth century.
