From 30 August to 8 September, the Patronato de la Virgen de la Roca and the Church of Sant Miquel Arcàngel are organising the festivities, as they do every year. A sense of community and local heritage will once again take centre stage in Mont-roig del Camp.
The programme of events includes a Mass at the Chapel, sardanas, the traditional Ball de Coques and various family-friendly activities, such as a hot chocolate party, a reading of legends about the chapel – featuring the writer and storyteller Judit Robert Masià – and the community meal, one of the festival’s most participatory events.
