Well known by the locals of Mont-roig, these stairs, sculpted directly on the red rock of the Areny, overcome a considerable difference in level, although with the help of safety railings, they are enjoyable for young and old.
The stairs connect the Camí dels Carlins with the Cova Foradada and the Areny, and are easily found by following the signs from the parking area of the hermitage.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
For safety reasons, access to the Camí dels Carlins and other accesses to the Areny area has been prohibited, due to the danger of landslides from a rocky mass on the Areny mountain.
