LA PIXEROTA BEACH

The bunkers located in the center of the beach are part of the cultural heritage of the municipality. If you don’t know them, we recommend you visit them, they are very photogenic and you will love the fantastic panoramic view of the Gulf of Sant Jordi.
As a curiosity, it was Joan Miró’s favorite beach. The genius liked to go down from his farmhouse to the beach of La Pixerota to swim and do physical exercise.
It was the beach where he drew his well-known Mironian stars and which would later become one of the most representative symbols of his work.
