Website accessibility
Aware of the growing importance of new technologies and the need for everyone to enjoy and interact with a website’s content, Mont-roig Miami Tourism is working to make its website accessible to people with disabilities.
In this regard, we are following the recommendations set by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), an initiative proposed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), aimed at promoting and establishing guidelines that guide web design towards an accessible model.
To achieve this, Mont-roig Miami Tourism has implemented a series of criteria to make the website as accessible as possible and continues to develop additional measures to meet both current and future accessibility guidelines:
- Style sheets to control layout and presentation.
- Heading elements to convey the logical structure of the page.
- Scalable font size to improve readability.
- Alternative text for images to enhance content comprehension.
- Adaptation to different browsers to ensure an optimal user experience.
- Metadata to add semantic information and improve accessibility.
